GC, Shotgun Fred's and Mexico

The Dawgs' have had a wonderful week and a half. After the GC last week in Huntsville, TX at the Shotgun Fred's BBQ Showdown, I (Jason) was off early the next day and was able to take off and spend some time with my wife in Isla Mujeres, MX. We came back in town late Thursday only to get ready to cook TTHA this weekend. Oh well, that's the life of a competition BBQ team!!

At TTHA we were able to turn in some pretty meat for the judges and ended up with a 7th place ribs and a final table brisket out of a really good field of competitors. Congrats to Craig Sharry for his GC and Darwin Hoel for his RGC and to all of our other BBQ family for their walks wherever they were competing! Thanks also to Dawn for doing a great job judging as always!

It was also a special weekend for me to have my Mother come and visit us Saturday! Thanks to all who stopped by and we'll see you down the road.
